What we're hearing from our children this week:
- "I think I might be going to prison?!"
- "You won't get respect if your back is not erect" (Me: huh? sit up straight, whaaat?)
- "No, he was trying to kill me with a metal rake not a plastic one!"
- "You are so pretty Mommy (as he pets my hair..pause, pause) can I have some candy?"
- "Mom, look!" (as he shoves his finger under my nose) "That is what my feet sweat smells like!" (with a HUGE, proud smile on his face)
- "Mom, if we just stare at the phone she might call and say he can come over!" (Me: it is 10:05pm, Chuck's Mom isn't going to be calling!) "Well, just stare really hard!!"
- "Does that fart smell?...I think it smells."
- "Mom, you are so weak!" (My Mom: Don't say that about your Mom) "Well, Grandma she is...the trainer lady was holding her up!"
- "It's OK that we are playing (staying up) late...we are totally free tomorrow"
- "Help you, help you" (That's how Cohen asks for help)
- "I only had two brownies at Grandma's and a Snickers, can I have my Hersey's bar when we get home?"
Aww...the joy of children!

Classic moments! You'll be so glad you journaled these. Sounds like my kids with the sugar and especially Jake with the crazy boy smelly stuff. Thanks for the laugh! I was going to do a post of the same title yesterday. Great minds think alike. Funny girl.
Take care, Christine

I just love reading all of these things that children say. You can definitely tell you have little boys and that the talk through those blue megaphones. ;)
