When I saw this video (below) I was moved...I mean tears flowing, heart thumping, thoughts flooding in my head of all the possibilities M-O-V-E-D!!! WHAT IF!!!! What if we stop just saying "hey, let's capture the true spirit of Christmas" and REALLY DID IT! What if we walked the walk as Christians, started a movement, a world change, joined a conspiracy! Even if it isn't through this "Advent Conspiracy" what if you give all of your Christmas money as an offering at church or to others in need?? What if you even gave half or 3/4th's of it?? If we all did that, what would that look like? I believe that would translate to lives changed! Do you know how BIG that is? Do you know what that really means? A life that would be hurting, or in need, or sad, or lonely, or without a personal relationship with Jesus Christ..would be changed! They would be forever altered because YOU! Because we did the right thing, because we honored God with our time, talent, treasure and our testimony!! What if we didn't care what others thought because we will give it all away in a God honoring fashion instead of spending and what if we didn't attach these feelings of failure as a parent because Little Tommy won't get his list of "STUFF" he gave to "Santa" because you know what, Little Tommy will be better because of it! He will see his parents honoring God . He will see an example of what God's church really is and what it should really look like. What if you celebrated the birth of Jesus Christ and not Santa and his reindeer. Celebrate it in a God honoring way...by giving. The possibilities are endless. Lives changed can happen with just one person, are you going to be that one? I know 6 people in my house who will be "going without" this Christmas and I bet it will be the best Christmas we have ever had! What if your family did it too?
